Mission & Message

Mission

To nurture, challenge and inspire our next generation of young musicians to play with passion, think outside the box, and cultivate their talent for the greater good.

Message from the Festival Co-Founder & Music Director

We all have dreams.

More than thirty years ago, I dreamed of traveling the world with my music. I dreamed of performing at the world’s great concert venues and festivals, of performing and conducting in all continents. I envisioned having my own music albums, owning creations that touch people around the world. I wanted to create a new approach to music education. I dreamed of grooming young talents to the world stage, creating new platforms for the new generation to shine in the next century.

The vision was to make classical music relevant, impactful with higher purpose.

Thirty years on. Many of those dreams have been achieved. However? I still consider myself a work in progress.

Kinnari Music Festival is a major crystallization of this vision: the result of three decades of experience, combined with the fond experience as fellow and artist at Aspen Music Festival for four years, and a few others across Asia, Europe and America.

The time is now for Thailand to have our own progressive international orchestra festival for young artists.

With our incredible faculty members and guest artists, renowned professionals who graduated from the world’s leading conservatoires such as Juilliard, Berklee, USC, Yale, Vienna, and Yong Siew Toh, all are proud Thais. This inaugural year will set a new standard of creative orchestral experience. The way we believe music should connect in the 21st century.

Heartfelt gratitude to ISB and Kula for sharing the same vision. The passion, synergy, facilities, professional and morale support have been second to none.

Thank you for your interest in the Kinnari Music Festival. We hope you will consider joining us.
